Great for Your Home, Garden or Business

ornamental-gate-design-installed
This is an example of a pre-constuction photo composition of the finished gate. We do this to show clients what the project will look like once installed. Any changes to the design can be made before any metal is cut. The design service and photo composition images are prepared at additional cost for projects priced under $500. This gate cost about $600, installed.

curved rails, measurements
Careful measurements must be taken before a template can be made. Then the rails can be curved and cut to size. Use of the template also allows us to make sure everything will fit perfectly.

At Wisconsin Iron Works we make some really nice gates for the garden or in the home. They cost more to produce than a plain railing or fence because it takes more steel to make and requires special engineering. But they also add more character and style to any setting.

Check out my photo story to see how we make a custom quality gate for a small courtyard made of tumbled concrete blocks. The gate is mounted to a strong hinge plate mounted to one wall and locks with a spring latch.

All of our custom gates are welded, ground and brushed to a clean paintable surface before finish coats are applied Other finishes such as galvanizing and powder coating are available, but are a lot more expensive . The cost for prep work and paint of this item came in at $100. It will last about five years before needing any touch up.

Contact us with an idea for a project and we'll work with you to make a perfect fit for your setting.
