Fancy Bowed or Potbelly Railings and Balcony Units
This high end condominium project will have three bow baluster balcony
units when it is completed. This balcony is mounted to the stone wall facing the street with galvanized 5 inch long by 3/8 inch lag bolts. All 12 lag bolts penetrate
the wall studs by over 3 inches into the wood.
At Wisconsin Iron Works, we strive to make all of our projects not only attractive, but really strong. This unit weights in at over 200 pounds. It was designed to meet all area building codes. It measures 39 inches high by 60 inches wide. All parts were pre-cut to size, bent as needed and dry fitted before welding. We also grind, wire brush or sandblast it prior to powder coating. It gets a coat of galvanized primer under the semi-gloss dark bronze, powder coating finish to prevent rust and corrosion. This and similar units cost about $1600- $2000 each, installed.
