1936 Chevrolet Town Sedan

Asking price $15,000 or make an offer- NO trades

Check out the neat features in this great classic car. Very desirable, two-door sedan is a real sleeper and has been upgraded to 12 volts with halogen headlights.

Newly rebuilt - 216 blue flame six, converted to all 12 volt, 30 thousands over, harden seals, Offenhauser exhaust header, dual Carter carbs, dual exhaust, polished aluminum valve cover plus more. This engine replaced the original 207 six that came with the car.

Front-end parts, battery, brakes, brake lines, bushings were replaced with new parts or have been completely rebuilt. A real driver, with new running boards and trim, plus the radiator has been restored to new condition.

Custom original look, heavy-duty 6/12 volt wiring harness throughout

Transmission upgraded and rebuilt, three-speed stick on the floor.

Original lever action shocks were replaced with custom mounted gas shocks. This makes the car drive a lot tighter, especially in the corners.

Rims sandblasted and painted, Firestone reproductions tires by Coker Tires have less than 500 miles on them.

Many original chrome parts have been redone. New chromed bumper guards added. New repro hood ornament needs to be installed. Other miscellaneous new parts come with the car but also need to be installed, such as carpet trim rails. Interior redone in the 1970 and could use an update. Original radio, heater could be repaired and wiper motor need minor adjustments. All gauges work. Solid steel body is in great condition.

Car was repainted in the 1970 and has been buffed up recently. The finish looks very good at 15 feet. Engine needs a little bit of final touch up paint for carbs and manifold.

All in all, this car moves much quicker than the original. It will cruise at 55 to 60 all day. Formerly it cruised at about 45-50 tops. It still has a 4/11 rear end gear ratio. Put a 3.75 or 3.55 rear and you could go 65-70 MPH easily!

Over $17,000 invested over the last 10 years, plus hundreds of hours on dedicated labor of love time, scraping, cleaning and painting this great green automobile!

Make an offer.

Come and check it out. Sold as is. More photos are available.
